TV
When is this damn writer's strike going to end? I'm not a huge television fan, but man the quality of the shows is going downhill fast and hard. Tonight, Friday, the best show on television I found myself watching late in the evening was My Big Redneck Wedding on the Country Music Channel. It was a toss-up, between that or From Dusk to Dawn, which I've seen about 50 times. It is always on, even on Christmas day. Watching Cheech Marin and Juliette Lewis battle a barful of vampires at the Titty Twister bar is always amusing. But it's getting old, except for the scene when Selma Hayak walks down the dance floor as a vampiresse, telling George Clooney she was going to make him her bitch in the afterlife. Well, it's Selma Hayak, so it's a pretty tempting offer. Meanwhile, on the Redneck show, the best man is dumpster-diving for groomsman gifts.
I'm just worried that any day now I could be bedridden for an extended period, trying to recover from some vicious chemo combination, this is going to be the entertainment I'm offered. Gotta say it's a good motivational tool to get well.
Any suggestions for other shows?
Ahh, here we go. Inside the NFL on the Spanish HBO channel. Chris Collinsworth actually makes sense now.

A new season of dirty jobs is out! And there is always CSI (Miami, New York, Sydney, Mexico City, Mumbai, Mars, wherever - I can't watch this show/s) or whatever's on BBC America.
