OSU takes a dive
Well, the fighting Illini handed it to OSU tonight. How does the #1 ranked team lose to an UNRANKED opponent. Again, the sports writers and now the BCS computers both have proven that they cannot predict what will happen. The pole numbers are nearly meaningless.
The only team that has stayed in striking distance of its original ranking is LSU. Having played 6 top 25 ranked teams, with a record of 5-1 against those teams, LSU has stayed in the hunt for a National Championship. And now they should, with a victory tonight, move back up to #1.
