NBA All-Star Game Next Year

Well, the NBA All-Star game this year in Las Vegas, at least off the court, provided for some real entertainment. Hookers, players, dealers, and other various scum descended upon the city and fed off each other like the bottom-feeders they are. Then Pac Man Jones of the NFL showed up to show everyone how to really pull off a stupid criminal trick.

Vegas reported numerous arrests associated with the game, mostly for prostitution but some for drugs and shootings.

So now, the NBA Players' Association President is worried that next year, when the game is in New Olreans, there will be trouble because we lack the necessary police force.

"If the union is not convinced that (New Orleans) can accommodate the All-Star Game, it's an issue that will be subject to litigation between the union and the league," Hunter told New York Newsday. "Their police force is dissipated. They're probably dealing with half the force they had before. They don't have all the resources that we will need to properly police the city. They've got a serious crime problem as it is. What are they going to do?"

This is the sage advice from Billy Hunter. Here's another tip for him: Police your own players. We can handle you. Hell, we handle Mardi Gras and the Bayou Classic. If you have not been into the heart of the city during the Bayou Classic weekend, you are missing a real fun crime spree and general stupidity fest. But we survive without much issue.

Another tip for Billy. Yeah, our police force is under-manned. But they do shoot criminals. So you may want to warn the "thugs" you have in your organization to be prepared.

David Stern, commissioner of the NBA, had a really good idea. Send the game to Berlin, or somewhere in Europe, to "promote the NBA overseas". Yeah, and make all these entourage scum apply for a passport. Wouldn't THAT be lovely? I'm sorry, your passport application is denied, and by the way, you are under arrest.

If the NBA thinks it's collective group of morons can threaten New Orleans then it is much more deluded than we could possibly imagine.
